How we charge

Which option fits depends on your case. We always agree it with you beforehand.

You pay for the time we spend on your case. You get a monthly overview of the hours.

  • Fixed price

For a clearly defined job, like reviewing a contract or a settlement agreement.

  • Legal aid

On a low income with few savings, the government pays part of the cost. You pay a personal contribution.

Costs and legal aid

Legal aid and insurance

About legal aid (Legal Aid Board, in Dutch)
  • Subsidised legal aid (a 'toevoeging') is applied for with us through the Legal Aid Board. Whether you qualify depends on your income and savings.
  • Have legal expenses insurance? Contact your insurer first. In a court case you can usually choose your own lawyer.
  • Court costs, such as the court fee, come on top of our fee. We tell you about them in advance.
  • For free initial legal advice you can also contact the Juridisch Loket (Legal Services Counter).
